Standing some 40cm at the shoulders, it is the second largest of the wild cats that inhabits parts of the United Arab Emirates. تقرير فادي منصور تاريخ بث التقرير : 23/10/2008 ولازلنا مع تداعيات الأزمة المالية العالمية حيث تضرر قطاع صناعة السيارات الأمريكية أكثر من غيره جراء هذه الأزمة المالية وهو الذي يعاني اساسا من المنافسة الاجنبية وارتفاع اسعار الوقود. وقد دفعت الازمة المالية المصارف الى فرض قيود مشددة على قروض السيارات مما ادى الى تراجع مبيعاتها وسط توقعات بحدوث اندماج بين مصنعي السيارات الامريكيين تلافيا للافلاس.

كان يعمل اهالي ارتاح في الزراعه ولكنها ايضا اشتهرت بصناعة الفخار حيث عمل البعض بها وان السكان الذين عملوا بها اكتسبوا اسم هذه الصنعه وهم آل الفاخوري . ويوجد حاليا فاخورتان في القريه . وهي مهنة موجودة منذ مئة عام حسب اقوال كبيري السن .حيث ان هذه المهنة اصبحت الآن كتراث في هذه القريه . حيث كان يصنع هذا الفخار من طينة خاصه كانوا يحضرونها من منطقة الجيب وهي قرية بالقرب من مدينة رام الله وقد اقيم الان مستوطنه اسرائيليه على اراضي هذه القريه,مما جعل امر احضار هذه الطينه من تلك البلد صعب للغايه مما اجبر السكان على ترك هذه الصنعه والتراث والبحث عن البدائل مثل العمل في اسرائيل وما شابه....
