Montreal Band Bartholomew Plus 3 and "I Can't Go Back". This song was the flipside to "When I Fall In Love" and released in 1967. *Picture in video October 29, 1965, Montréal Forum backstage, members of Bartholomew Plus Three with the Rolling Stones. Left to right: Gary Ship (B + 3), Charlie Watts (Stones), George Gardos (B + 3), Barry Albert (''Bartholomew''), Bill Wyman (Stones), Mick Jagger (Stones), Corky Laing (B + 3), Keith Richards (Stones) and Brian Jones (Stones) Barry Albert (vocals; acoustic & electric guitars) Gary Ship (vocals, hammond organ) George Gardos (bass) Lawrence 'Corky' Laing (drums) A pop/rock outfit from Montreal, Quebec signed to Quality and Can-Am in Canada and eventually Atlantic Records in New York where Felix Pappalardi produced their single "When I Fall In Love". As the band finally started to gain some notoriety at the end of 1967 Barry Albert quit and the band fell apart. Corky Laing went on to play with Energy and would become a founding member of Mountain with Leslie West. Both Ship and Gardos co-wrote songs for Mountain's 'Nantucket Sleighride' album; Gary Gardos went on to join Charlee; Albert became the business manager for a top session singer in Quebec and still continues to perform as well. with notes from Barry Albert
