HOW AND WHY? TOP MUSLIM OFFICER PREPARES RACE CASE The UK's most senior Muslim police officer is in the final stages of preparing a racial discrimination case against Scotland Yard. Assistant Commissioner Tarique Ghaffur, who previously served with Leicestershire police, has had legal documents drawn up accusing colleagues of a catalogue of victimisation, bullying and harassment. Some of the allegations refer directly to the actions of Commissioner Sir Ian Blair and Police Authority chairman Len Duvall, sources said. One senior colleague said relations between Mr Ghaffur and Sir Ian were so bad the two men would not speak to each other. Mr Ghaffur, who is responsible for security at the 2012 Olympics, has employed a senior barrister to draw up legal papers. He is now in the final stages of considering whether to formally submit them to the force and commence an employment tribunal. Mr Ghaffur also claimed he was discriminated against when his contract was extended for only one year, unlike senior colleagues. The officer believes this undermined his role in preparations for the Olympic sporting extravaganza. Ali Dizaei, president of the National Black Police Association, said: ''It will be a sad day for the police service if one of the UK's most respected senior ethnic minority police officers is forced to challenge his treatment in court."

East Midlands today Braunstone 8 April 2008 Braunstone in the News the question is why has it taken so long, could it be they could not hide that crimes has gone up despite of the millions the BCA has spent on improving the Estate? Why have the Labours Councillors Anne Glover, Wayne Naylor and Michael Cooke punishing the pensioners, woman with children who often sit on the 3 seats relaxing, by removing the seats how is that going to stop the vandalism? As ex directors of the BCA they should know full well the residents should not be punished for the few, who the hell do they think they are, it seems they have shown their true colours they are out for themselves and nobody else, typical Labour and sod the residents. So every time there is vandalism Labour will punish the Braunstone residents rather then address the problems, while Ms Glover enjoys 7/24 Patrica Hewitt MP, Ross Willmott and emergency phone line to the police and 7/24 CCTV while the Braunstone residents have nothing.

On the 8 April 2008 Braunstone, two men call on a pensioners house in Braunstone, one of the men knocks on t he doors and says police, when asked for his ID the bogus Police Officer tries to make a forced entry. The police are called no police come to the house, the police were asked three times for them to come and take the fingerprints of the door fittings. The police response "we don't know if a crime has been committed." Yet the Police have asked for a 15% rise of their share of the Labour Leicester City Council tax`s?

Leicester City Council is a Statuary Partner of the Braunstone Community Association (BCA) the Council has a seat on the BCA board so why aren't the Council following their statuary duty to promote racial equality? You have got to wonder why the Labour Leader Ross Willmott who is also the Leader of the Council allowing the BCA to cover over racial discrimination when the council have a legal duty to promote racial equality or does that not apply to the indigenous white population of the UK? You have also got to wonder why Ross Willmott is hiding his head in the sand, as a senior partner of the BCA why has he not told the BCA to keep to their agreement that the BCA should write a letter of apology for a racial incident that the BCA board agreed to do. You have got to ask the question why Ross Willmott will not do this, it does not say much about the Leicester City Council`s commitment to racial equality does it Mr Willmott, is this the policy of New Labour that the indigenous population of the UK are denied the same legal rights as other ethnic minorities shame on you Mr Willmott? Most worrying is why is the Leicester City council in Partnership with an organisation who have racist among them and why are the Leicester City Council not doing anything about my complaints, I believe had I been of a African Caribbean or Asian the Leicester City council would have taken action, more to follow?
