"Okay, so do you want to tell us why you just made your husband feel like complete shit!?" "Reighlei, stop! " "Oh come on Delia, shes acting--" I didnt respond, I walked over and sat in the lounge chair in the corner completely ignoring Delia and Reighlei. Wed have an argument, make up and fight again. I really thought it was over for us, until that night. It was the end of tour, we were back home, and they boys wanted to celebrate with a nice dinner, or so I thought. I was still so mad at Kevin; I hadnt realized the entire thing was set up. I had spent the day with Joe, who just had to make us late. The two of us piled in his car, and ended up at the park for what was the biggest shock of my life. Three tables filled the moons lit path, each with silver table cloths, a vase of red roses and several tea light candles. A violinist stood aside a buffet table and there, at the end of a trail of candles and red roses was a very nervous Kevin. "Kevin?" I asked with a shaky voice. He didnt say anything, but held out his hand to me. I walked down the path and stood there, speechless. He took my hands and just stood there for a few moments, silent before he began to speak. "Sophie, Im sorry for everything thats happened these last few weeks. Im sorry for everything Ive said, and Im sorry for hurting you. These last several days without you have made me realize how much you mean to me. There were so many times I just wanted to crawl in your bunk beside you and hold you close. Ive wanted to hug you and kiss you and hear you laugh. Mostly, Ive just wanted to be with you. My heart has been aching. The thought of losing you forever, has just been too much. I cant do it, I cant live without you. I want you in my life; I need you by my side.. I love you. " By now, the tears were streaming down my face. I couldnt believe this was happening; was it really happening? He looked me in the eyes and smiled before he got down on one knee. "So here we are, In front of our families. I give you my heart, and hope youll keep it forever." He paused for a minute and pulled out a ring. "Sophie Will you marry me?" I was crying hysterically now, as I shook my head yes. He slipped the ring on my finger and immediately got up and hugged me close. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him.
