There is a frog, dead in the middle of an island. If he swims north, the distance to the mainland is 2 meters. If he swims south, the distance to the mainland is 3 meters. If he swims east or west, the distance is 4 meters. Which way does he swim? --------- "Do you want to go see Jacob" he asked. I nodded and our foreheads separated. He brought me a wheel chair and helped me into it. He wheeled me out a couple doors down to Jacobs room. He was in a full body cast, with a scraped up face. "Oh my god" I whispered under my breath. Joe wheeled me to his bed. Jacob remained silent until he realized I was there. "Minna?" he barley made out. A tear streamed down my cheek as I smiled at him. "Hey buddy. Minna's here." I said reassuringly. "I'm scared" he whimpered. I tried standing up to hug him but I fell back into my chair. Joe helped me up so I could get a better look at him. He didn't even look like Jacob anymore. "Honey, don't be scared. Im right here and so is Joe." I said while Joe still kept me sturdy. "I wanna go home" he pouted. I reached up to touch his head. "Me too, sweetie" I said sitting back down in my chair, to weak to stand any longer. After sitting their in silence for about 30 minutes, Joe wheeled me back into my room. He helped me up into the bed and then slid next to me dragging the portable I.V with him. I laid on my side with Joes arms around me as he whispered in my ear. "I'm sorry" he breathed. I put my arm over his and closed my eyes. "For what?" I responded not really paying attention. "Jacob. I'm sorry I did this to you.. I should have never, I mean, we should have never, I'm sorry" he said guiltily. "Joe, I don't understand what you're saying?" I said paying attention now. "I shouldnt have talked you into it. I took away your teenage years and Ill never forgive myself" he sighed. I closed my eyes and swallowed. "Joe, I dont want you to be sorry because Im not. I don't...I dont regret anything from that night. It made me realize a lot about myself. And it didnt take anything away from me. it gave me something. It gave me Jacob and if I didnt have him I would never be the same." I admitted. "You're making this harder by not just accepting my apology" He quietly laughed placing his cheek on mine. "you don't need to apologize because theres nothing to be sorry for" I truthfully stated. He groaned. "It would make me feel better if you were more angry with me from the way I reacted to all of this. Your letting me off too easy" he sighed. I laughed a little starting to doze off. "I never said I forgave you for that. Just wait till I get out of this hospital" I semi-joked though half of it was truth. It was silent for a moment, quiet, and I liked it. but of course, he had to ruin the silence. "You know, you're awfully sexy in a patients outfit" he said trying to lighten the tension. I chuckled and turned my head to see him. "Your weird, you know that?" I said trying to read his expression. He smirked and I turned my head the other way and fell asleep. I opened my eyes and looked around. Everything was bland. I continued to look around as I laid there propped up. I expected to feel Joes warms arms around me, but felt nothing. I turned over and realized I was alone in my room. The slow beeping faded as I felt the pain building up again. I breathed heavily. He didnt even care to say goodbye. Tears started rolling out of my eyes. I looked to my side and saw a note. "I have to go. Don't ever look for me. I dont want you or Jacob" it said. I held it in my hand with utter shock. I then yelped so loud at the pain in my chest that I sat up, jerking my neck. Thats when I woke up. My breathing was hard, I was sweating. I realized that I actually yelped. I looked to my side to see Joe very frightened his arms securely around me. "Are you okay? Do you need me to call the nurse" he forced. I began crying. Images of the dream floated around in my head. I gripped my chest as the pain still lingered there. I thought I might hyperventilate, that was, until Joe comforted me. He gripped my shoulders and pulled me back down. He held me close as I cried into his chest. The pain was gone now, as I lied there in his arms, silent, except for my crying. I could tell that he was very confused. I looked up at his eyes, blurry from my tears. I read his pained expression. "Dont, I, please, just, you cant" I stuttered. I couldnt get the words out fully. He put a finger to my lip, and smiled, sending another burning pain through me. "Come here" he whispered, pulling me closer than I already was, if thats possible. He put his lips to my forehead and then stayed close. The pain started deteriorating. I felt in control of my emotions for this moment. My heart was near broken, yet still beating. Time will heal this, I reassured myself. He wont really leave, he cant.

Kylie's POV We must have stood there in the pouring rain holding on to each other for an hour as if we were scared this moment could slip away forever. I sobbed quitely into his chest as a million emotions raced through me. Fear, confusion, astonishment, shock, sadness, anger, relief, happiness, love, disbelief. Could life not be so confusing for once? Correction. Could MY life not be so confusing for once? I just lost yet one more thing that was close to my heart that i loved dearly. And the person i was once deeply in love with that i had so stupidly let go, had just come back into my life at the moment i needed him most. As these thoughts ran through my head, i buried my face deeper into him holding on to him tighter. Once we pulled away from each other rain was still pouring down on our already soaking wet bodies. He stroked my cheek gently with his hand. I closed my eyes at the feeling of his soft hands touching my skin. His touch was electrifying and we both felt it. "Um we should probably get back home now.." i said nervously when i realized the situation i was in. Without saying a word he slipped his hand into mine and we started walking toward my house. I pulled my hand away from his and clasped my hands together nervously. "It's-its okay Nick" i studdered, "I can walk home by myself, Kevin's probably worried about you.." I didnt realize how nervous i was to be around him now. It was wierd. After not seeing him for over half a year, i didnt know what to expect. He sighed and walked over to me placing his hand on my lower back. "Come on..after everything thats happened, not only tonight, but these past few months, the least im going to do is walk you home. If you don't want me to stay thats fine. but i need to make sure you're okay" I nodded and continued walking toward my house. We walked in silence the whole way there, and i was dying to hold on to him tight since it was so dark outside. When we finally got there i went inside to find Nolie not home yet. She was probably staying over at Kevin's since it was raining so hard. I went inside and grabbed some of Nick's clothes i had borrowed before and handed them to him. "Here you should probably dry up and change so you dont catch a cold" i said handing im his clothes and a towel. He took his clothes with a hurt look on his face. I tried to look away fast so tears wouldnt run down my face anymore. I started the water up to make some tea and went to change myself. I put on my glasses since my contacts were all smoked up and walked out to the kitchen to see Nick sitting on the counter waiting for me. I went over to the tea pot and poured it into some mugs. While zoning out into my thoughts i accidently over poured the boiling hot water in one of the mugs causing it to spill on my hand. I jumped back pulling my hand back as fast as i could and on reflex started blowing at it. "Tsss" i said in pain. Nick bolted over to me grabbed my hand. He was hovering over me rubbing my hand and blowing at it making sure it was okay. He led me over to the sink and ran my hand under cold water and lightly stroking it at the same time. "Im fine" i said quitely as i dried off. We took the tea to the living room and sipped it. I was still cold from the rain. As if reading my mind, Nick went into the closet in the house that he knew so well and grabbed a bunch of blankets wrapping some around my shoulders and keeping one for himself. We finished our tea and sat there occupied in our own thoughts. I looked down and played with my charm bracelet that came so close to being burned in a fire tonight. "Thank you Nick..." i whispered. He looked up at me breaking out of his thoughts and took me in close to him. "I would do it all again in a heartbeat Kyles..i know how much that means to you.." I nodded without saying anything and closed my eyes. silence filled the room once again as we drifted off into our endless thoughts.. comments =] this song really has no relevance to the story right now but i was too lazy to think of one haha sorry. OH and by the way! Please go check out my friend TheeMrsJonas15's stories! They are fantastic and she's just getting started writing and it'd be awesome if you guys checked those out. The Next Morning. Nick: *woke up and saw Autumn was already awake, smiling at Nick* Mornin babe. Autumn: *smiled bigger* Mornin. Silver: *walks in* Good mornin lovebu--- *cover her eyes* Dear lord. I thought by now you would have had clothes on. Autumn: Sorry Sil. Destiny: Whats goin--- *enters* Oh god. That afternoon. Destiny: *hears the doorbell* Ill get that. *opens the door* Hey Kevin, hey J— Kevin: Have you seen Nick? He wasnt home and— Nick: Relax. Im here. Joe: God what the fuck! What are you doing here. Silver: He came go give Autumn a present. *smirked* Kevin: ok. Ew. Well god. EW. Destiny: *holding her stomach* Kevin, do you wanna go shopping for the baby today? Autumn: Now are we gonna shop or argue? When they got home, they had bought a lot of things; 4 bibs, 4 passafiers, 2 cribs, 8 stuffed animals, blankets, and toys. They arrived home, Destiny and Kevin started to set up everything in the girls guest room while Joe and Silver and Autumn and Nick were in there rooms. With Destiny and Kevin. Destiny: So this is where the babies are gonna stay for now. After we get married and all, youre living here right? Kevin: Yeah, ofcourse. I think thats a great idea. I mean, I really need a break from Joe and Nick and all too, you know? Destiny: yeah, I know. But like my baby bump is really annoying me. I dont want the people at school to know that Im pregnant. Kevin: I thought you were gonna wear layers. Destiny: Sooner or later its gonna get to big for that. Kevin: What about you take the last few months of school off. Destiny: Kevin, what am I gonna tell everyone? Kevin: Or just let the school know that youre pregnant. Destiny: Now why would I do that. Kevin: Because you know that might be the best thing to do. Sooner or later, the weathers gonna change from cold to hot and youll be sweating in all your layers and missing school isnt good for your college apps. Destiny: Well neither is getting pregnant at 17. Kevin: Des, Ill be there for you ok? You have nothing to worry about.*held her hand and kissed it* Destiny: *smiled* Ok, I guess. Kevin: So, are you gonna go to the New Years party at Crystals? Or do you want me to stay home with you. Destiny: A party. With alcohol, drugs, and people going crazy. I dont think thats a great place for our babies. Maybe on the day of the party, you could come over, well have dinner, and figure out baby names. Kevin: Yeah, I think that might be a great idea. With Silver and Joe. Joe: So Sil, youre gonna be at Crystals New Years Eve party right? Silver: And youre gonna pick me up. Joe: Perfect. With Autumn and Nick. Autumn: Nick, do you wanna go to the New Years party at Crystals? I heard everyones gonna be there. Nick: And so are we. *kisses her forehead.* So the new years party chapters will be up TOMARROW!
