I would love to hear from anyone who has been prescribed to the SSRI called Celexa (generic: Citalopram). My official diagnosis is: rapid cycling bipolar disorder, and panic disorder with agoraphibia...and the Celexa has been prescribed for the latter(the panic with agoraphobia). I am well aware that SSRI's are useless in treating bipolar disorder, and generally only work for those who are DEPRESSED. I am not depressed. I would like to hear from ANYONE who has been prescribed Celexa, for whatever reason, and especially those who have taken it for panic. Becky Kuhn, M.D. discusses factors patients say make it hard for them to take their antiretroviral medications (ARVs) on schedule as prescribed. This problem is referred to as "ARV noncompliance." Failing to take ARVs as prescribe can lead a patient to develop a strain of HIV that is resistant to the medications they are taking, require that the patient switch to other medications, and increase the risk of clinical AIDS and death.
