Oct 29, 2008 - And I love the way the innocent and the worldly combine in her. What's this sweet girl in a pink frock doing singing about "bloody changes"? Captivating.

Nov 7, 2008 - We listened to this album up in Alaska in a cabin. It was one of the few cassette tapes we had. I fell in love with her music. Sweet indeed!

Nov 11, 2008 - Green looks calm and healthy. If I recall, he left Mac in about May of that year under a cloud of strangeness, but he looks pretty together here in this brief glimpse. Who is on his left? Anyone know?

Nov 12, 2008 - Peeltower, perfect adjectives. Nearly forty years on, we just sit and gaze and listen, as caught up in her as the audience.

Nov 12, 2008 - entrancing...
dialacroc Says:
Nov 12, 2008 - That's Peter, looking relaxed and happy. LSD caused him a lot of problems, maybe after his gigs with Grateful Dead at Boston Tea Party. Damn shame...a nice interview with him in Uncut recently where he looks back. Listen to Jumpin at Shadows from that era...very spooky and on the edge of madness. He quit soon after and never been as good, but still one of our finest blues players, IMO.

Oct 28, 2008 - I'm addicted to it too. I had to worked real hard to stop singing it to myself instead of clearing my mind, in yoga last night. She is so in the moment in this performance -- in all her performances, I expect. Makes me proud to be Canadian. (But California sounds real good.)
