Jun 1, 2008 - Guys, you clearly have an ignorance problem. Latin = Europe French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese... those are LANGUAGES derived from Roman Latin, so it's a linguistic issue. The problem is that a lot of people call latin or latinos to South American people, reffering to racial issues. We are latins as long as we speak a language derived from Latin. It has nothing to do with race or ethnicity. And by the way, if anybody is to be called latin, those are the Italian people.

U can cal it, Canada, Mexico, and the rest of the american continent is ridiculusly influenced by US as well as the language and all, so it´s easier for us to learn it and speak it since we´re so used to it, but for spaniards they are fortunately REALLY REALLY far from all the us crap!
