CannonLongshot Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - They do sound quite similar though. Well, I think so. This vid is crazy though. Disturbed's vid has homeless people invading the UN. This has... a man drowning and turning into Superman? I just... haven't got it yet. Good song and great vid, just... confusing. Which is appropriate, really :P

drambuie4856 Says:

JesustheLizard Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - Yes, it is a lot better,,,,, for me to poop on. I hope you're joking. They should of never done that. the other version is garbage, the instrumentals are dumbed down, the vocal is crap, and the video even sucks. Damn guitar hero kids, the future has no hope.

wyobaseball928 Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - yes im soooo joking. not. they were good back in the old days, but now its disturbed. disturbed has better guitar solos, the voice is better, and genesis just sucks.

xxvtpatrick Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - this song came out at the height of the cold war...america using it's allies and the soviets using theirs...written by genesis. an original song...against nukes...many nukes we still have pointed at each other.

JesustheLizard Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - I really liked disturbed when they came out with their 1st album, then they released another album, i can't remember the name, but i didn't like their new stuff at all. They just shouldn't have redone this song, it bothers me when he does that exaggerated thing after almost every line(ahhhh hahhhhh hah)

wyobaseball928 Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - yea i agree with ya on that... but i still think disturbed is better and they r better with the guitar

hnddbbdac Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - am i the only one who is kind of creeped out by the puppets? lol love the video, song, and band though

mcrzombie123 Says:

beatlefanallison Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - In 1986 there were excellent videos coming out all the time (MTV was at its peak). Don't remember if this won an award; it probably did or was nominated (should've been if not). State of the art for the time. They fit so many current (1986) personalities to a tee in this video. Very creative. Not to mention the song is awesome.

beatlefanallison Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - Following on, this video in 1986 was hilarious, especially for we who liked to joke about the president, because the way it portrayed the Reagans was fully consistent with the major stereotypes about the president at that time.

jess16saint Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - I like both versions.. but I most admit Genisis kicks ass too..
