Widmerpool99 Says:

Nov 12, 2008 - Christ, Mingus, couldn't you learn to hold the thing before you started? It's just a big ukulele, after all. If George Formby could manage it....

icwutudidtharr Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - You've obviously never touched an upright in your life. They tend to slip quite easily on a slippery floor like that. Most bass players these days have some sort of thing like a rubber disk they can put on the floor so their bass doesn't slip. They also may have a rubber ball on the end of their stand or many other different non-slip things.

Widmerpool99 Says:

Nov 16, 2008 - Don't you go lecturing me about touching uprights, you cheeky beast. Not mention bits of rubber to aid friction.

NoirMusic Says:

Nov 17, 2008 - Best upright bass or best upright walking bassist? I've met a few bad ass bassist who couldn't walk upright...
