Nov 16, 2008 - You've obviously never touched an upright in your life. They tend to slip quite easily on a slippery floor like that. Most bass players these days have some sort of thing like a rubber disk they can put on the floor so their bass doesn't slip. They also may have a rubber ball on the end of their stand or many other different non-slip things.
