Nov 20, 2008 - A lil scrappy this tha shit g's up
iRideDarkstar Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - hmm.. im gonna call bullshit that you were in iraq and in the army. Your profile says your 18, and 2000 rounds of ammo for a solider carrying an M4 or M16 is about 66 magazines. THATS RIDCULOUS. Even if they had the m249 thats 20 drums.
iRideDarkstar Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - knockdown power is bullshit. people fall from the pain and shock of being shot.
Jimbodrear Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - God it makes me rage..
cha0sXT Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - ONE HIT FROM THIS...
NorseReign Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - Um not exactly. Adrenaline will overcome the shock and allow you to keep moving. Thus bring the term "stopping power". Bigger bullets equal bigger wounds and more likely he will be killed instantly. Go back to your airsoft guns and let the big boys play!
staplerjm Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - wtf terrorists arnt steel plates! theyre organic and squishy with blood. a 5.56 makes people drop just as well as a 7.62
theclaw195 Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - 5:28 Lol, did he just call the m16 reliable?
67DieHardPatriot454 Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - Not only that some of them fucking hadjis aren't feeling any pain or shock because they, alot of times shoot up adrenaline before battles. So darkstar i realize you think you know everything but you dont. Anyway we need to get this gun in the field asap. Good fuckin gun.
adepsa Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - No pain or fear when on drugs, believing into an idea or if it's your last chance move.
iRideDarkstar Says:
Nov 21, 2008 - Are you stupid? Check YOUR facts. There is no assualt rifle bullet powerful enough to "knock down" a person. It's been proven. The only calibers that really can are the .416 and up. And this gun isnt as all good as its cracked up to be. The 6.8 SPC performs almost the same as the 7.62 X 39mm. Its only good up to 300 yards, while there are engaegements in afgahnistan from 500 yards.
longhaurules Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - kay... you try to still stand up after you get hit with ANY bullet. in any case, i would choose the 5.56 because: greater ditance, greater accuracey, cheaper, and is going to punch through at least one block of cement. if you wanna get your job done, you want precision.
phadil Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - You should see a video where a 7.62x39 of AKs punch through a concrete block where the 5.56x45 M-16 failed. many failed to realized that the killing power of the bullet is not just the penetration.
CovertSnowman Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - i must agree. if a gun is strong enough to "knock you down" then its going to go through you. you wont get knocked down, but you will fall when you die. BUT if someone were wearing body armor, under the RIGHT onditions, then the could be knocked down and be relativly unharmed.
deathhoundpack Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - check YOUR facts. the effective range of the barret M468 is 600-800m not 300m
iRideDarkstar Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - are you stupid? The bullet may go 600m, but the EFFECTIVE RANGE is only 300m. Effective range meaning that the bullet is accurate up to X meters or whatever. Seriously start learning terms before you flame.
blackattack100 Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - RPG does that.
saved03 Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - I guess reliable to screw up maybe.
Dragon5n Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - best explination
iRideDarkstar Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - Try reading the comment. I'm saying the only reason people fall is from the pain and shock of being shot. The bullet doesnt "knock down" anyone. And if you want precision, go with the 7.62 NATO or even better the 6.5 Grendel.
Pottan23 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - yeah I was 'as reliable as the m4? what does he mean by that'.
Battlecorps101 Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - An officer that was hit by a 7.62mm fired from an AKM during the North Hollywood shootout stated, that when the bullet hit his leg, his leg flew up in the air like a ragdoll. And I agree with you, the 6.5 Grendel is where it's at!!
smidiet Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - yeah like a .22 can go over a mile, but it's only good for about a football field if u know what ur doing
al3xt3hl0nly Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - the mexican fx-05 will be using the 6.8 to.
codzilla12 Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - We (the Army) arn't allowed to (unless you go to "spiper school" or something similar) but I think Marines are allowed to.
