Sep 29, 2008 - Wellmckockiner Jesus might have existed..How do u you know?Do not confuse between faith and ignorance. One can believe in a "lie" as far as he is willing to accept it and is ready to draw VALUABLE virtues from it.That is "faith" something that u can hold onto and entrust your mind into(which doesnt lead u to nothingness).Faith always neednt be true. However this in contradiction with science and the views of reason and rationality.Sometimes man must also search for "reason" in the "untrue" domains

Sep 29, 2008 - your explanation of the fourth dimension is quite rudimentary, and only one possible theory. As three-dimensional beings, we can only guess at what the fourth dimension holds and even much less so what the fifth, sixth, etc. dimensions hold.

Oct 8, 2008 - 9 spatial dimensions and 1 time according to current string theory =)
Mario626 Says:
Oct 14, 2008 - well "current string theory" is now called "M" theory which has a revised 11 dimensions total...accounting for not only strings, but also two dimensional membranes, and undulating three-dimensional blobs, etc...but truly we'll never know for sure (or at least for a heck of a long time) since these theories are virtually impossible to prove experimentally...

Oct 14, 2008 - we can not guess at what the dementions after the 3rd are like because it is non exictent to us and thus there is no way we will ever know how they are like or not alike we just cant conprihend it (srry for spelling)
kiyoshi147 Says:
Oct 15, 2008 - 3-branes, you mean? Also, I'm pretty sure the 11th dimension is supergravity, so I left that out for the sake of simplicity. Of course, I could be wrong. I'm no theoretical physicist ;)

Oct 24, 2008 - this makes me want to spend my life studying physics and developing famous theories
MrCanuck Says:
Oct 25, 2008 - Here's a theory: Everything you saw within 10^24 meters is actually all inside of a single proton making up a molecule of something in an even bigger universe. Heck, we could be inside of a proton that makes up the DNA of the insides of a horse's rectum in that bigger universe.

Nov 5, 2008 - Jesus did exist. The question is more whether he was who The Bible claimed him to be.
DescryHidden Says:
Nov 10, 2008 - This video just made me realize how insignificant I really am. I'm pretty humbled by it. But it still makes me wonder... If there isn't much oxygen in outter space, how is the sun able to burn so massively and so powerful? Wouldn't the collapse of air being needed around it have affects on our orbiting solar system? And wouldn't the black holes play a factor in venting our solar system from any discharge of gasses that might pose harmful to earth? I mean does space have different rules?
johnnyhermann888 Says:
Nov 11, 2008 - Interesting questions. We do NOT always need oxygen to create heat and light energy. The sun is a massive ball of hydrogen gas held together by massive gravitational forces. The hydrogen gas becomes so hot it fuses together to form helium (He) which in turn fuses together to form the heavier elements in the periodic table. It's this fusing of atoms which creates the heat. We know this through spectral studies. Space does not have different rules; science is true in all parts of the Universe.
