Nov 19, 2008 - The Greatest!!!

DerangedRanger1 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - Actually, we learn most of what we need to know from school. However, its laced with such pro-capitalist, pro-American way propaganda that people that it muddies our thought. If we could get by our emotional attachments and actually think critically we might be able to improve. Sadly, what we have id hypocrisy and scapegoating - blaming others and criticizing them for problems we create. If you buy into America uncritically, then don't whine when it doesn't work well. Take responsibility.

Nov 28, 2008 - "It's called the American dream... because you have to be asleep to believe it." What a line.

JonSchaffer57 Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - Starting around the 3:40 mark he spoke with such passion and truth it actually brought tears to my eyes. George Carlin was the best comedian to ever walk the planet. He is surely missed.

Graphettion Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - Government controlling education is the problem. Why isn't it on the market? I guarentee there would be a lot smarter individuals if educations was market controlled.

Graphettion Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - guarantee*

DerangedRanger1 Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - Well...its spelled "guarantee." Next question, who controls the US government? Answer: large businesses. So in effect "markets" do control the education. It is clear that allowing markets to control will not always result is what is best for human beings. The quicker you get off the ideology that you've been trained to believe in the business controlled education system, the better off we'll all be.

NeoOneOrg Says:

Dec 4, 2008 - Hi, I'm working on this dream aspect, it relates to how economy is really formed through the aspects of duality, we loose instinctive intuition when we evolve through technology, economy is based upon human dysfunction as we loose ability to simply exist, this is what splinters the mind as what is metaphoric in the Matrix Movie, I can decipher most art based upon the aspects to doctrine which change society towards socialism, symbolism is the reason that people fall asleep, however itwillchange

NeoOneOrg Says:

Dec 4, 2008 - I am writing a book which explains how this happens due to the fact that true psychology is not being used in society, duality is the basis to what begins the process of image attachment, promoted through symbolism, there are so many factors envolved with the process, that why metaphysics is so difficult to translate, a new language in metaphysics is what I am attempting based upon our ability to reason through our duality, I have linked this also to the bible to what Christ was teaching aswell

Zeppo11767 Says:

Dec 4, 2008 - The older I get and the more I learn I see how incredibly on the money Carlin is with this bit. What most people don't get is that George isn't speaking about some vague theory he's put together for a comedy act. This is an agenda that is very real and is in effect and "nobody seems to notice... nobody seems to care". For those of us who are in "the know" lets keep praying more people wake the fuck up.

Graphettion Says:

Dec 12, 2008 - How are we gonna do that? Socialism? lol

Graphettion Says:

Dec 12, 2008 - A capitalist society is why you and I are here today. So what do you suggest?

DerangedRanger1 Says:

Dec 12, 2008 - No...I am here because my parents had sex...I am subject to a capitalist society...that being said, I'm not opposed to capitalism, but clearly the system we have now needs modification.

DerangedRanger1 Says:

Dec 12, 2008 - We already have socialism...any government service including public schools, police, garbage collection, public roads, the military, etc. - thats all socialism

Tacotruck1166 Says:

Dec 15, 2008 - Guess what, public schools are for paid by taxes. They are goverment controlled as well as government regulated. Education is controlled primarily by the government.

DerangedRanger1 Says:

Dec 17, 2008 - Guess what, the two major parties we continually vote for are funded by large corporations who "donate" and provide free advertisement in the form of "news" in exchange for lobbyists...true government controls education, but business controls government...thus business controls education by making tests, providing curriculum and "standards," and by enouraging government not to fund schools who don't comply.

Tacotruck1166 Says:

Dec 17, 2008 - Coroporations don't have direct control over education but they certainly have an influence. If you really believe that corporations control everything in America you are sad.

MrXfromPlanetX Says:

Dec 19, 2008 - What about what Michael Moore suggested with health care. He suggested we look at other countries to see what they are doing and pick up what works. We should look at the countries with the top math and science scores and then copy what they're doing.

DerangedRanger1 Says:

Dec 20, 2008 - Actually, I'm not sad - I'm pretty happy. But yes, I do think that businesses have more influences in the country than any other entity. You can use your little ad hominem, but it doesn't present any discussion worth looking at.

saxophoney Says:

Dec 20, 2008 - Was this bum ever funny? "Comedian" infers being funny not just a foul mouthed "angry guy".

Nerdlord12 Says:

Dec 21, 2008 - Notice the audience laughing. And he's not a "bum"; he's the best comedian ever for taking his frustration and making it funny rather than the same old relationship and in-law jokes.

andy08s Says:

Dec 23, 2008 - WHY they don't introduce new subject in schools... religion it's name

andy08s Says:

Dec 23, 2008 - okey guys any explanation why i am broke and making only 7.5 an hour delivering pizza? i graduated from public shcool and hade all A's in my 12 grade. went to college got into debt and now broke
