Feb 15, 2008 - Beautiful work Pimhawinkels! One question...How were you able to obtain such a narrow depth of field in some shots (like the one with the rope from the boat). Was this achieved solely with your prime lenses or did you have to adjust your F-stop for the DoF shots? I was told that you couldn't acheive this type of DoF with 16mm. You've been able to acheive a narrow focus similar to what poeple are getting with the 35mm adaptors for video. This is better though...It's film!!

Mar 2, 2008 - no i just used th eprime lenses, they are kern lenses, with maximum aperture of 1.4 and 1.1 i believe... also wen using the 10mm, peope are not used to widangle shots with very narrow dof.... so thats why u probably noticed it... thanx, pim

Mar 10, 2008 - Hello pimhawinkels. Compliments for your beautiful footage, is astonishing. Just beautiful. My technical question though is if you had some color correction at the lab or you colour corrected or is you, a nice camera and a good load of film. Thanks a lot for posting, is really something.

Mar 14, 2008 - vision 2 50d is incredible. I have a really nice 16mm movie camera in my attic somewhere and another I found at a flea market too. I am waiting till the money is good to try it out. What do you think of the 50d?
