Sep 7, 2008 - Alright, here's what I think: The raven is struggling to get to a better place, away from the waste, but is tied down for whatever reason. The owl is free to go, or help the raven, but chooses not to. He likes staying in that place with all the waste. I don't think the owl symbolizes anything good because the way he was drawn was a little creepy, and the music changed when he appeared.

Sep 26, 2008 - {{{{{MY POINT OF VIEW FOR THIS VIDEO }}}}} okay so the owl resembles the a parent, and the crow resembles the kid.....notice the cigarettes and pop can tabs flying down at the crow? it means soo much

Sep 28, 2008 - There are so many different interpretations for this video, but the one that resonates with me is: Sometimes the things we call freedom enslave us. As humans, we are drawn to dark, rebellious things. Normality is constricting & we want to break free of that. The owl then is representing maybe a part of yourself that revels in this darkness, or perhaps another power that is keeping you there (addiction, etc). You realize when it's too late that the things we deem freedom really do enslave you.

Oct 29, 2008 - I think if you're trying to interpret this, one of the main points of significance is the lipstick. It shows the lipstick 5 times, and repetition of images (in art and literature) always points towards a central message. Perhaps this vid has to do with vanity, or maybe some facade.

Oct 30, 2008 - the owl represents a female.. animal testing look at the video again..

Nov 19, 2008 - Just love it! I keep coming back to this vdo. Very creative and thought provoking.

Lupi2 Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - perhaps its about reaching the point where one starts questioning his responsibility for another. you blame the wise owl for not helping the raven, but, should he? if someone refuses to pick up wisdom to learn from his ignorance (just biting the string) and thoughtlessly follow self-destructive desires (entering a polluted world/environment), time and time again, one grows cold towards it all to prevent at least oneself of suffering too (suffering through compassion).

Lupi2 Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - or the owl might be one step back and still thinking hard whether to help the raven (one last time) or not, and we don't see his decision so it basically ends with asking the viewer: 'what would you do'?

Lupi2 Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - or maybe its simply the owl representing the side of you that keeps you in a place you know isn't good (room gets filled with trash). crows are smart after all too, smarter than owls actually. lol, sry, im just amazed by this video.
