My tribute to my favorite romantic couples in period dramas: - "Little Women" by Gillian Armstrong with Winona Ryder as Jo and Gabriel Byrne as Friedrich. - "Sense and sensibility" by Ang Lee with Kate Winslet as Marianne and Alan Rickman as Col. Brandon. - "Jane Eyre" by Franco Zeffireli with Charlotte Gainsbourg as Jane and William Hurt as Rochester. - "Pride and prejudice" by Joe Wright with Keira Knightley as Elizabeth and Matthew Macfadyen as Darcy. Music tracks used (in order of appearance): · "The secret life of daydreams" by Dario Marianelli, extracted from "Pride and prejudice". · "The Laurence boy" by Thomas Newman, extracted from "Little women". · "Jane and Rochester" by Alessio Vlad and Claudio Capponi, extracted from "Jane Eyre". · "Under the umbrella (End credits)" by Thomas Newman, extracted from "Little women". Special thanks to Jane Austen, Louisa May Alcott and Charlotte Brontë for their beautiful novels (I'm aware that Jane Austen's stories were set in the last decade of the 18th century and not in the 19th, but I hope you'll forgive that little technicallity).

Apr 8, 2008 - Thank you, I really appreciate it :) You're right, actually I regret not using some S&S score, cause I really love Patrick Doyle, but I couldn't find any particular tracks I felt like using. Nothing wrong about not being a fan of Winona :) I couldn't be less fan of Keira Knightley, but I have to admit she was great as Elizabeth Bennet.

Aug 22, 2008 - I love Sense & Sensibility and Little Women (P&P is good, but they play it too many times on tv and I've never seen that version of Jane Eyre) I'm glad you added my fav scenes in both films (The opera house scene in LW and Col. Brandon carrying Marianne in S&S) It's a beautiful video :)
