The guitar playing is completely off -- he seems to stop playing guitar and start again with no difference in the sound of the guitar. Oct 14, 2008 - The guitar riff is so beautiful it's beyond belief. Argent really tapped into pure magic on this tune. Loved it the first time way back in the 70's. A true testament to the genius of seventies music.

Nov 21, 2008 - oh wow..I always liked this song. So simple yet so good. It is from 1971 or 1972. Back in the day where I stayed up till 2 am to see them on "Don kirshners rock conert" on TV. This was the era of long hair, old army jackets, filthy bell bottoms that dragged the ground and got all freyed, hopeing the war would end before you got drafted, muscle cars, hot hippy chicks in white bell bottoms, 45 cent gallons of gas, the aroma of Marboros and pot in the air, no computers, no cable and endless youth.

Usually when I see groups "faking it" on stage they do not have their guitar amps behind them and are not "plugged in"....so I am a little uncertain of this one.
