Check out the Beatles performing a Shakespearean skit on a 1964 British television program. The audience seemed to be having as much fun as the Fab Four were! Where else can you see John dressed up as a woman, playing Paul's love interest? Hilarious! Don't miss it!

Heckler:Who? George: Look, you. All I have to tell you is this lantern is, the moon, you see. Have you got it? I'm the man in the moon. This thornbush here is my thornbush, and this doggie-woggie here is my dog. Now if you don't wrap up, I'll give you a kick in the arse.

Oct 29, 2008 - i thought he said "look, you!" i doubt that he would say "fuck" on television. Especially because it was the 1960s. Brian would have had a heart attack haha

Nov 4, 2008 - for those of you who dont know the story (or how to speak old english), heres the just of it: the ever cheeky Perimus and gloriously butch Thisbe are lovers seperated by a wall and forbidden to marry. so they decide to elope at night. Thisbe is attacked by a lion leaving a bloodied rag behind, and Paul-er Perimus thinks she's died so he kills himself and Thisbe does the same. Not unlike romeo and juliet (except with cuter actors! *giggles*).

Nov 8, 2008 - Is that the beatles at very beginning playin the music? I LOVE this so much. "Doggy woggy" cracks me up. And i love how john and paul say sword at the same time in the exact same way. And i love when they start heckling at george and the way he reacts. And ringo is so CUTE in the lion costume. It makes it even funnier how they get out of character. LOVE THEM SO MUCH!
