Jul 30, 2008 - cool vid. i kinda got the fealing that he wasnt completly comfortable with the sword but of course it just might lok that way cause it wasnt some cheesy 'chop suey' karate showboating.

Oct 29, 2008 - Don't get me wrong. I love Kuk Sool Won. I practiced for three years. But consider this - this man bears an awful lot of similarities (both in physical appearance and) in demonstration techniques. I can't help but wonder if he is really effective and if he has ever proven his techniques effective in self defense situations for himself.
dacosta5678 Says:
Nov 14, 2008 - uuumdm....you dun kuk sool for 3 yr think he's not effective? dont u know wot Ki is? and jungle lee or wot ever you call yourself- no it is not a dance...this is a martial arts demonstration, for some people that jus dnt undertsand martial arts, this is the national martial art of korea[tkd being the national martial sport],taught to their army and police these techniquies are designed to mame, imobilise,& kill - not fight.Sung jin is the next grandmaster.Thanx for this martial system Kuksanim
uvgot2bcrazy Says:
Nov 17, 2008 - consider this: You practiced for 3 years once or twice a week for an hour. The man you see in the clip practices all day, everyday since he was 3 years old. You think some of those techniques might be effective in a self defense situation?
uuumdm Says:
Nov 17, 2008 - Just an FYI, average two-to-three hours per day four-to-five times per week is how much I practiced. Not counting all the free time I killed practicing it on my own on weekends and stuff. Anyway. That's a good call. I thought about that too. One more thing to think about. If anyone knows the answer to this, I'd love to know. Has he ever been in a real fight? I'm just asking because the sparring we did in that school was pathetic and degrading to martial arts. I'm just wondering about SJS
zomgrandomtext Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - Yes, I have found it to be really effective in my school :>. What with the amount of racism in my school, I have been attacked after school because I was white, and trust me, the people never stood a chance.
uuumdm Says:
Nov 27, 2008 - That's cool. I pray your classmates learned a lesson about racism.
wassamatu Says:
Jun 28, 2008 - u know i was but i quit some time ago cause i was lazy but now i wish i was still in it cause our teacher said i was the best in his class and he never said when i was in his class and now i want to be in the UFC so all those techniques i could have learned was just wasted on laziness compared to my dream
