Nov 28, 2008 - This was great - I remember asking my mother for some as soon as I saw this. I'm researching British Adverts at the moment. If anyone has any unusual or rare footage of Ads from the 50s 60s 70s. It's hard to find them, does anyone know of any that aren't on youtube? Elizabeth de Villiers London UK

Nov 29, 2008 - Because Jay Ward produced these commercials, 'zach', from 1963 through '84. Daws Butler was the "Cap'n", and June Foray and Bill Scott provided the other voices, with Paul Frees as announcer. Shep Menken is the voice of "Robinson Crusoe" in the first spot {the same voice he used as "Clyde Crashcup" on "THE ALVIN SHOW", his impression of Richard "Edwin Carp" Haydn}. These ads date from the mid-'60s.
