Caterpillar bulldozers have come to symbolise foreign involvement in Israel's occupation. But should the company be held liable if their products are used to break international law? Bulldozers are the iron fist of the Israeli army, used to destroy Palestinian homes, uproot orchards and build illegal settlements. But it was the death of Rachel Corrie that brought to international attention a campaign to hold the company to account. Now a law suit has been launched accusing Caterpillar of human rights violations. (Inigo Gilmore)

Nov 26, 2008 - When the settlers pulled out of this particular occupied territory would it not have been the humane thing to leave the homes standing and deed them to Palestinian families? The homes were well built and habitable. Why did the homes need to be destroyed? It's a symbol of the heartless cruelty of the Israelis towards the Palestinians. Why is the world letting this happen?

Nov 27, 2008 - I never heard so much rubbish, where is it all going to stop, next they'll be holding the diesel company that fuels them and the tool company that fixes them. What about all the people that buy big brands like Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz, Fiat etc these all made planes, tanks etc to kill our troops during WW2.

LuvUrDeen Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - pro-Zionists company run by a bunch of baboons . "Caterpillar does not make these modifications.." yeah right, they only ship the parts, the customer then put them together !!

MuddleVanHeck Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - What a coincidence...I was just looking at the website for the Council on Foreign Relations, and the CEO of Caterpillar sits on their board. I kid you not. BTW, the CFR is the primary architect of the North American Union, but to see the board members, you would absolutely know why. The multinational corporate interests on that board are looking out for their profits. Thanks for the video, great contribution!

Sazzylilsmartazz Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - MuddleVanHeck Thanks for the info. I really don't shop at Caterpillar anyway but it's nice to know. I don't know much about the CFR. I'll have to do a google unless you have a good link to send.

Sazzylilsmartazz Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - Rachel Corrie, a 23 year old American girl from Washington State was murdered by Israel in her attempt to help the Palestinian people. RIP Rachel. You are the pure in heart and will see the Kingdom of God.

LuvUrDeen Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - Now it does explain it,since the chief of caterpillar baboons is part of the N.A.U !! ur welcome sis.

MuddleVanHeck Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - Dianna, The CFR was established (I think) in 1921 by David Rockefeller, and it's been considered an elitist special-interest group that has advised and shaped not only our country's policies, but many others, too. They are a think tank on what is in "our best interest." I'll e-mail a link to their website. I actually signed up for their newsletters, too. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer! LOL!

Sazzylilsmartazz Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - Thank you:)))))))

tomestubbs Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - Caterpillar has lost its credibility to me but then again the whole military industrial congressional complex has also! They R scum as R the Israelis that condone to these crimes against humanity. We should stop supporting the welfare state of Israel all together until they move out of illegally occupied territories and stop committing genocide.

xBiscuitPowerx Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - Next time I buy a bulldozer it will not be a caterpillar! Boycott succeeded!

coolgamer1677 Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - Faulty logic, the automakers and gunmakers are not selling directly to foreign nations for the express purpose of killing others, and the company knows there product is being misused. We brought charges against German manufacturing companies for their roles in WW2. This incident involves a US company knowingly giving material to a foreign country, with the knowledge that war crimes are being committed with the equipment.

1973RoadRunner440 Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - How is that faulty logic? You guys that want to sue Cat are using the same damn logic. They are not selling dozers to Israel for the sole purpose of killing others. Israel is the one that is armoring, and arming them. It's just like buying a car, what you do with it after it leaves the lot is your responsibility. That is their responsibility, not Cats. Why don't you sue all of the other Equipment manufacturers for conspiracy? They bid against Cat, why aren't you making a fuckin fuss about that?

1973RoadRunner440 Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - Cat doesn't manufacture armor, bullet proof glass, and machine guns dumb ass. Israel buys them separate. Learn your damn facts.

LuvUrDeen Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - @1973RoadRunner440 Cat orders custom bullet proof glass, then custom install them in their custom made bulldozers that israel custom ordered, there isnt any other country on earth that uses those same bulldozers !! ur analogy is so cavemen inspired !! u sure think like a Road Runner,ur better off chasing a coyote ..Beep Beep

1973RoadRunner440 Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - We also use those dozers

coolgamer1677 Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - It doesn't MATTER if it's the sole purpose. Under the eyes of the law, if they KNOW their products are being used ILLEGALLY, they have a DUTY to stop supplying them. It's like saying a gun store shouldn't be punished for knowingly and illegally selling guns to felons without background checks.

SaracenArrow Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - seriously..heartless people those zionists and the caterpillar company.glad i wont be trying for a job there though i wanted to.

bobyloopo Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - damn zionist pricks

1973RoadRunner440 Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - How are you even sure that they are purposely running people over? They go to push over a house and someone jumps in front. Do you even realize that you can not fucking see if there is a person in front of the blade on a D9R? Probably not because I bet you have never even been around one let alone run one. The blade is over 6 feet tall. Typically in my experience, it's smart to stand out of the way.

1973RoadRunner440 Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - so are you going to sue Cat for selling them to our government? and by the way, pretty sure a coyote chases a road runner, not the other way around. road runners aren't carnivorous smart one.

verykron Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - makes me want to buy stock in caterpillar

blackedout247 Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - what the fuck is cat suppose to do stop making machines i wouldn't have a damn job here is always going to be some people who fuck someones life up if they are paying to get machines that can demolish homes of course they are going to sell the fucking things

1973RoadRunner440 Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - i would be out of a job too

1973RoadRunner440 Says:

Dec 1, 2008 - and you are still wrong, Cat doesn't even install the bullet proof glass like you claim. All of the combat modifications are made by a third party. They don't even install the combat modifications for the U.S. It's all done by the country that purchases them.
