Mar 11, 2008 - If you see any cricket video, there would be fight going on between Pakistanis and Indians with all kinds of abuses being hurled at each other, quite contradictory to Hockey videos where each acknowledging the other's greatness. Just goes to show the greatness of Hockey and the respect it demands.

Mar 12, 2008 - What is the name of the soundtrack...its so soothing

Ariamaluum Says:

Mar 23, 2008 - I think that is a good thing because it may force Indian sports to prioritize a bit better. Indian that have entered the Olympics since 1980 have been mediocore due the artificial turf. Indians have not been raised on it and there is not enough places to practice on them. Also, turf requires a speed and power athlete unlike grass which requires a quick and flex-strong athlete who moves well in traffic.

Aug 9, 2008 - Feel really sad, that our administartors have screwed this game in our country. A game which we dominated for time eternity, we were invinsible at one time. Its really sad that people no longer take pride in calling themselves Indian, but choose to be identified by colour, race, creed, & RELIGION. Thats INDIA personified for you. Yest to see somebody who takes pride in saluting the tricolour. Leander Paes was the last one who shed a tear when he won a medal & was really a nostalgic moment for us

Aug 10, 2008 - Is that Dhyan Chand? The guy who's dribbling past everyone?

revolverocelot001 Says:

Aug 11, 2008 - Dhyan chand scored 3 goals in last 4 mins to win the first gold medal for india in 1928. India won 6 gold medals consecutively, the higherst ever in the history of team sports in olympics to win. and what is hockey now. It feels so sad that very few people even know that the national game of india is hockey. Today we have everything, there is no scarcity of talent but administration has killed this amazing sports. i have respect for cricket also but still love for hockey is mych more..

aayushdureha Says:

Aug 16, 2008 - I am choked to see this video...what a game...I played till inter zonal...then for studies left it.....Hockey is my life.

bakarmaster Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - I have never been a die-hard fan for hockey, but I have lots of respect for this game. I am no exception, as I am a die-hard fan of Cricket, like millions of other Indians. But the sad part is, when it comes to the International level championship for Cricket, the sport which has so much of popularity and so much of money involved, still we are never World Champs (except once!!). Every sporting event should be given equal importance and just not Cricket. Hockey should revive in India.
