Your ideas and points are recieved well by me and I truly appreciate your efforts to communicate the beauty in God's creation(mankind). InshAllah, one day we can all live side-by-side with peace and understanding for one another and show patience between our different faiths. maSalama, Sister S.

Jan 24, 2008 - Ofcourse you hate it. Its completely forced on you. Its natural to rebel or turn against something that you're forced to do. I dont see the point of a government trying to enforce such a law. If a woman wants to cover her hair, her choice should come from her heart and she should be doing it to please God, not the government.

Jan 27, 2008 - Yes there could be a good, but then you have to look at the probability of god existing or not. It's not simply a 50-50 split.

Jan 27, 2008 - Every teaching of Islam is rational. For this we need deeper study of the religion of Islam. askislam dot org has almost all the answers of contemporary issues of our society.

Jan 27, 2008 - If you have some bad experience from those who try to use Islam in their own benefit, does not mean that Islam and its teachings have some flaws. Student can go wrong but the book is always right.

Jan 29, 2008 - the point of burning the burqa is to show freedom. an individual should have the right to wear anything they feel. but pressure from parents, from society and religion stops this. anything that goes against freedom is to be opposed. u r not free and u'll never be free because u r afraid of change. ur argument is apologetic to those who stop the progress of freedom. i mean they got u arguing against reason and rationality. lol. how sad is that? recommended reading: end of faith by sam harris

Feb 22, 2008 - Salaam alaikum , I was wondering how do you get your pretty niqabs??
ebrocato Says:
Feb 24, 2008 - Your argument, atheism and theism are equally valid is flawed. Hunches, feelings, or faith do not constitute empirical evidence. Also atheist don not need to disprove god. Example... THEIST : I know there is a god. ATHEIST: Ok, bring him forth. THEIST: I can't but you must believe, its a matter of faith!!! Replace "god" with "invisible pink unicorn" and you will see how ridiculous this argument is. Or replace "god" with thor or yaweh or any other god you dont belive in.
Kaitess Says:
Feb 24, 2008 - Why is it that most people think that a woman who wears a chaderi [burqa] or face covering are somehow oppressed? I think people need to start being more educated about cultures other than their own because we are living today in a globalised world. If we don't start aiming at consensus we're going to get conflict.
