Nov 13, 2008 - excuse me for everyone who is making this a "thumbs down comment" yes i do believe that she was amazing and incredible. all i'm saying is that the judges have gotten so incredibly picky on every little thing that it is insane!

Nov 14, 2008 - that routine is not even close to how difficult things are now even i can do that dismount

Nov 14, 2008 - I think that competitive sports in general take too many chances in the things they try to do. There can and are some very serious and life altering consquences that some from trying to do so called spectacular stunts. From gymanstics, to cheerleading, to other sports. The 70's and early to mid 80's were about having a good quality life after their days in competitive sports has ended.

Nov 17, 2008 - Gymnastics back then was much less difficult then it was now. Her perfect 10.0 bar routine wasn't even that difficult. She was the first person to successfully do a front ariel.

Nov 18, 2008 - yeah, it wasn't that hard. that's why so many other gymnasts scored perfect 10s before her. there are psychological factors. at one point, no one had run a 5-minute mile. as soon as one person did, many others did as well.

Nov 19, 2008 - why do you critic her so much? try you to make a perfect ten and then talk... you're just discriminating us because we are romanians.

Nov 19, 2008 - i agree Nadia owned you all noobs i'm proud to be romanian! salut mah!:D
gymnasticsloverxoxo Says:
Nov 20, 2008 - That is so not true. We are just mentioning that the difficulty factor in gymnastics nowadays is much higher than it was back then and their is nothing wrong with that, they had no idea didn't know gymnastics could be so hard. Nadia was an AMAZING gymnast of HER TIME. Nowadays gymnastics is just so much more difficult though she sadly just wouldn't have a chance up against someone just Shawn Johnson or Nastia Liukin.

Nov 22, 2008 - oh you mean the 2 gymnasts who lost the gold twice?
gymnasticsloverxoxo Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - Excuse me what are you talking about? Shawn won gold on beam and her beam routine was amazing and difficult and Nastia won all around gold.

Nov 25, 2008 - dude i watched the olympics nd didnt see anything this good dont downgrade her skills man
Agasajo Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - i think nadia would pwn those noobs asses
gymnasticsloverxoxo Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - The thing is she couldn't because she doesn't have the level of difficult skills that they have. If you asked Nadia to go on the beam and do two backhand springs to a layout like in Shawn Johnson's beam she wouldn't be able to do that.
gymnasticsloverxoxo Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - I'm a NOT downgrading her skills!!!!!!!!!! She was an INCREDIBLE gymnast for her time but gymnastics has become wayyyyyyy more difficult over the years which is not a bad thing. Its just the difference in the times.
