Oct 14, 2008 - I know! Without that scene you think he killed her maliciously. He was just playing - throw the pretty flower in, throw the little girl in. He's clearly upset afterward, like "What just happened!"
karmie87 Says:
Oct 21, 2008 - This is like spitting in the face of Mary Shelley. The monster was an articulate and intelligent being not some raging beast mumbling 'grr'. The creature actually narrates part of the story. They could have at least given the creature a voice, that's what made Shelley's novel famous.
karmie87 Says:
Oct 21, 2008 - Frankenstein is the Scientist not the monster. It is reffered to as 'the creature'.

Oct 23, 2008 - And how did the guy know the girl was murderd she could have just fell in the water and drowned rite ther were no witnesses. If matlock was ther it could have been a different story. And the creature some how reminded me of some people I knew when I was doing a lot of meth lol...but seriously this film was a true work of art.The genius it took to think up the visual of the sets like the dr.s instruments and devices. That took some imagination to create rite? And dont mix your brains up Igor

baraku5 Says:
Oct 31, 2008 - I dont really think this is an insult to liturature like alot of the readers of the real novel think. In the movie the creature appears to be child like and very kind, however missunderstood. The child like demmeanor of the creature is much different from the book, but it is turned bitter and even evil by isolation and being hated by the human race. I think Victor Frankenstein was made a little insane in it though. Another movie that sticks closer to the novel would be very interesting however.

Sep 1, 2008 - Yes. I saw a movie made about James Whale. But, Colin Clive's life does sound tragic. I still don't understand why he wasn't more popular, and why he was in so many b movies. I thought he was good looking and a good actor. Also, it seems he was a nice guy.
