Nov 6, 2008 - I last flew Delta in 2005 and I recall thinking their safety demonstration was poorly presented. Watching this again, I still think so. The life vests are unnecessarily complicated. There's muliple types of life vests. Some have a tab that activates the light, others don't. And some of them are fastened using 2 metal hooks, with others using s single plastic fastener. Why even have the metal hook versions? The plastic one is clearly easier to use. Compare this safety video with that of QANTAS.
