Im also a HUUUUGE PT fan. Coens are good, Lebowski and Fargo are classics. But for me personally I love PT and especially this film. Black Flag is good too.

It's become the cheap interpretation (quite frankly, too cheap in the case of TWBB). And as subjective as art is, I still think it's kind of a slap in PTA's face to pull that shit out of the movie when he's explicitly said there's no ulteriority to it. Rocker86 had it right, it's a study of an individual. I walked out of the theatre thinking about myself, not the government.

I always fear watching interviews with intellects because of the phoniness,and this interview had neither. Such a relief. I really admire PTA. What a great director. I have never seen a more generous director who gives his actors free reign. He is great. I always look forward to his movies.
