Vinyl Future Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/vinylfuture Detailed video information below, please read: Demonstration: Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeller Mode: Dotted Eighth, Ryhthmic Delay Additional Pedals: Boss RV-5 Amp: Line 6 Flextone II Guitar: Epiphone Les Paul Standard Song: 'Run Like Hell' by Pink Floyd Demonstration of the ryhthmic delay settings of the Line 6 DL4 to create the famous dotted eighth type delay sound. Using the tap tempo function in conjunction with the 'rhythmic delay' setting u can set the note length of the delay, for example tap quarter notes on the 'tap tempo' button and the pedal will produce delays in eighth note triplets as selected using the 'delay time' knob. I mess around with 'Run Like Hell' by Pink Floyd as an example, played from memory, so probably wrong (should have got a tab). If you have any questions or if you wish to request a specific demonstration of any of the equipment shown in the video, feel free to contact me through youtube or email me at my bands website at: http://www.myspace.com/vinylfuture

Oct 27, 2008 - hey men, hope u can help me, this is mi chain= wah+overdr+turvodriv+vivrat+flanger+delay, and my doubt is, I juts got a compression sustainer cs3, where should I place it in the chain? tanks

DanielJames99 Says:

Nov 1, 2008 - a compressor/sustainer should always be first in a pedal chain. so basically, put if before your wah.

Glenntre Says:

Nov 4, 2008 - As already said mate, right at the front of your setup!

amarr1 Says:

Nov 14, 2008 - anything with single coil pick ups... fender strat maybe?

jordanxxx Says:

Nov 14, 2008 - should just be a TAD bit more time between the delay

semutadatura Says:

Nov 17, 2008 - if you turn off the delay does the delay trail keep going

semutadatura Says:

Nov 17, 2008 - damn what other high quality amps have you compared against the tremoverb? I thought about that or an orange. or i thought about a cool setup with 2 ac-30s both with the additional cab and stand ( it'd be pretty kickass) appreciate it

craigmcarthur1 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Yeh I was just messing around, play it too fast in this video.

craigmcarthur1 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I agree, Fender Strat or a Telecaster

craigmcarthur1 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Yup it does indeed dude.

craigmcarthur1 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I use two heads in my setup, Tremoverb as my overdrive amp, but I use a vintage Hiwatt 100 Head as my clean channel. I have used my bandmtaes amps in comparison to mine, we have 3 guitarists. One uses a Mesa Boogie Roadking which is awesome. The other uses a Mesa Boogie Tri Axis Pre Amp and a 2:Ninety Power amp rack setup. Both of which sound amazing. I have used alongside the tremoverb a vintage Marshall JCM800 and another model of Hiwatt 100 head. I liek the Tremoverb, good heavy sound!

Nov 19, 2008 - great vid, you wouldnt happen to know the shortest delay time on the dl4 do you?

craigmcarthur1 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Cheers man. I think its 60 milliseconds, but not sure.

halloikbenmax Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - whateveer you feel comfortable playing on, there's no definition of what you need in order to play certain music. However, if you're looking for a certain sound just check out what other people play on. Just don't limit yourself.

rhcp00001 Says:

Nov 20, 2008 - thanks

2zone Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - u are one crazy mamma jamma and we should go to a rave and rave it up in bunny suits
