The point or havin a desktop is that it can be big or at least medium sized for ppl without alota space, that means that it can be inexpencive and fast, the point of a laptop is to be small so that it can be used on the go, the mac mini can't do either. It is pointless.

Jun 14, 2008 - true, the mini is an unconventional computer, but it's made to be a put-anywhere machine for people who need access to desktop peripherals without the cost of a laptop. It's also meant to be a Media Center PC. Would you want a full tower chugging away next to your DVR? No.
