Jun 8, 2007 - I do beleive it is physically impossible to listen to this song and not be singing the chorus to yourself for hours afterwords. These guys have writtien some of the catchiest songs of the last ten or so years. I highly recommend the album Utopia Parkway -- brilliant. And of course, you have to love how the bass drum just reads "OF." Clever clever.

Jul 8, 2007 - Catchy Americana, workmanlike video. No new ground is broken here or afterwards, but clever, intelligent lyrics and memorable, almost-ingratiating hooks make FOW worthwhile, at least through their first three albums.

Aug 15, 2007 - does power pop get any better?

antonjw Says:

Oct 18, 2007 - 'Catchy Americana' ? Is that what Ash are as well then..? Most folk would have it down as Powerpop... in which there is probably rarely any new ground broken... just some have refined it and have it honed better than others, like these, Ash, & the mighty Weezer.

Dec 3, 2007 - I saw them play this song live at the Conan O'Brien show in spring of 1997, soph year of college

Jammerkevin Says:

Jan 9, 2008 - looking forward to see these guys play this month in NYC. Great pop sensebilities... Hey... Didn't the bassist, Adam Schlesinger write the song, "That Thing You Do" for the Tom Hanks movie, "The Wonders"? What a talented group of musicians! Rock on, boys!

kisscatastrophe Says:

Jan 25, 2008 - both Adam and Chris were 28 when they did this album and video, which would make them 40 now. not sure about the other guys in the band now, as they were not original members of FOW. Chris and Adam were Fountains Of Wayne as a duo from 94-99 when they added ther two other guys

ixkey Says:

Jan 28, 2008 - One foot nailed down--> one foot nodding & head tapping. How could bower bob get better? Power pop I mean.

ixkey Says:

Jan 28, 2008 - The video has a perfect radioactive feel & so does the song.
