Sep 15, 2008 - I wish I played the cello, I love those low tones, and Julian Lloyd Webber brings beautiful sounds and the passion out of it.

Oct 4, 2008 - are you talking about twilight???? what the freak...

soojyLUVSyou Says:

Oct 4, 2008 - i disagree. this is an elegie... a sad story music is supposed to tell a story in the beginning, the person is angry, but as he mulls over it, the anger festers (becomes greater) therefore, the ending should be more intense than the beginning. at the way end, the piece should be, in a sense, softer because of the dynamic level but also b/c (the way I think of it) the person the piece is talking about is in resignation of his/her fate i agree that this piece is awesome and <3 the way he plays it

Oct 9, 2008 - i LOVE this. it makes me wish i could play the cello.

Oct 10, 2008 - Music isn't (usually) supposed to tell a story. We have literature for that. We don't need a story to enjoy music - the notes speak for themselves

Oct 13, 2008 - Well that is just based on personal opinion and what you make of it.

californication11 Says:

Oct 15, 2008 - Actually, i'm pretty sure there was a story behind it. Its about un-reciprocated love and the anger that comes with it isn't it? Thats what I was told in my my music lecture anyway. =S

Oct 16, 2008 - lol, I agree! ;)

sarsfizzle Says:

Oct 18, 2008 - when he plays the pp part at 0:48, the sound quality stays just and good as his forte part. it's really hard for me learning this right now to keep the piano part as beautiful as the forte. he does such a beautiful job!
