Nov 23, 2008 - you're completely awake, but they numb your eye using eyedrops and give you a sedative. You can see the whole thing :D

Nov 27, 2008 - It's common sense...wtf. think about it, too much of anything straining your eyes will damage them.

Nov 29, 2008 - I had Lasik on November 20, 2008 and all is well; it was quick and painless. My left eye is 20/20, my right eye is a little slower to heal 20/50 as of last Wednesday, last Monday it was 20/150; in time it will catch up with my left eye and be 20/20. I am really amazed; my vision is very good, colors are super vivid and everything I see is very sharp; much better than anything I had with glasses. I do have a problem driving at night; halos from oncoming cars but that is getting better.

Saerain Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - The eyes are totally numb for the procedure. It is extremely easy to numb the human eye simply with drops.

Saerain Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - 5:30 is just cleaning the cornea.

Saerain Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - The flap was the cornea, which is greatly responsible for focusing light. Without it, you can bet you'd see nothing but an indecipherable blur of colours. Proper vision returns when the cornea is returned to its place, but you're still staring at lights at that point. You can't really appreciate the difference until you're on your way out, and especially about two days later.

Dec 2, 2008 - how do people figure out that they can do this? i mean really did they just sit one day and the idea just popped up of numbing the human eye and dropping a whole bunch liquids in it and voila! 20/20 vision. to all the atheists out there i dont care who u are. u cant give credit to yourselves. only god can give humans the capability and knowledge to perform things like this

katethekanadian Says:

Dec 3, 2008 - That isn't faulty reasoning or anytrhing..

Dec 3, 2008 - I'm thinking of getting Lasik in a couple years. However, I'm worried that it'll hurt or feel uncomfortable.

prooc Says:

Dec 3, 2008 - Did they use the keratom on you or the laser to make the flap. I'm thinking about getting it, but I don't want anyone to take a blade to my eye.

kittycatt24 Says:

Dec 4, 2008 - just got it done yesterday!! have pain free 20/20 vision!! so glad i ddn't see this vid before or i would never have got it done!!

chrissyxd00d Says:

msk225 Says:

Dec 4, 2008 - I'm in my 40's and had cataract surgery 24 hrs ago. There are videos of it on here. My point is a "blade" is used in cataract surgery as well along with ultrasound. There is NOTHING to be afraid of. Your eyes are 100% NUMB. Get it done..the change in vision is amazing!
