I live in Rabat now for 5yrs (I am an Aussie), this is actually typical, but you should see Casablanca, it is 5 to 10 times worse, Marrakech is also bad, because it has bicycles and mopeds everwhere. FYI, each city has a different taxi color, blue in Rabat, Red in Casa, Biege in Marrakech etc.....
