Oct 10, 2008 - i think it all depends on how you categorize rap music. rap is all about lyricism and meaning. rap music today lacks both of those traits. i would have to half agree with you, rap CURRENTLY does suck. but that's only really the mainstream radio played garbage. to really appreciate rap/hip hop music you have to search for it. much of rap and hip hop tells a story or teaches a lesson. much like marilyn manson does through his lyrics. most people don't really appreciate lyricism in music though.
