People say 'communism frees the workers' when it does nothing but destroy freedom, create famine, and oppress all peoples. Democratic socialism is a far better option. And when people say 'vote for communism' when they would never vote again if the communists won. Sometimes the western revolutionaries have no idea what they are taking about, and I'm sure people who suffered such terror from the USSR would agree.
