Oct 28, 2008 - Pineda is good, but he is no Steve Perry. He's even said that himself...I think it was quoted on the Journey web site. I bought the new album when it came out, and I'm glad I did. There are actually some really good new songs on there. My two personal favs: 'After All These Years', and 'Turn Down the World Tonight' Though they aren't the same Journey with SP gone, they also aren't all that bad with Arnel.

Steve Perry is undoubtedly a difficult front man to replace for many reasons, but the 2 most prominent ones are his passion & of course vocal range. The most recent person I have heard & seen which I could see being the most respectable replacement is a front man by the name of Jason Paulino, check him out. Remember the name Jason Paulino as you will see him, hear his voice often and GOD willing for many YEARS to COME.
