We toured the States back in 1980 and I'll tell you this NOBODY even knew what the term rockabilly meant, they were ignorant of their own culture until WE, i.e. Matchbox, Cavan, and half a dozen other British bands introduced them to it, and that's a fact. I know the records were commercial,we lost control of production but we are not phonies.
