Nov 27, 2008 - I am old enough to remember that people smoked EVERYWHERE back then. Non-smokers who hated the smell of it still tolerated it in their homes. And yes, you could smoke while grocery shopping and at the office. Up until the early 80's you could still smoke at work - unbelievable today!
