FREE HUGS in Tel Aviv is still on. In the past two years, every Tuesday's evening at Rabbin's square, we're still hugging. Everyone is invited to come and get a hug too. For more details - contact shai.t1.rose@gmail.com. You also might wanna check our 2nd Video, from the hugs at the jewish-arabic city of Jaffa: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRyA3CXIk4Y Our Free Hugs campaign was inspired by Juan Mann's video. We had no secret agenda - we just wanted to go out there and hug some people, believing that it will make all of us feel a lot better, and make the world a little nicer. We hope you'll enjoy the clip, forward it , and go hug your loved ones. The soundtrack we chose for the clip is in hebrew and it's called "Someone to Run With". The singer's name is Daniel Salomon. It's from a soundtrack of a new israeli movie that goes by the same name. לעוד פרטים צרו קשר - shai.t1.rose@gmail.com.

Nov 10, 2008 - now that would be silly, like the palestinians trying to reclaim something they simply lost 3 generations ago. however if you were actually hungarian, have been persecuted and almost annihilated and have been dreaming every single year of your life of returning, then all the power to you, it seems like the safest place for you. and you have full right.

decimator333 Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - Even if I were to kill the previous inhabitants? That would be okay if I were going through a rough time?

decimator333 Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - And 3 generations is not the equivilant of 2000 years. Palestinians are still being preosecuted, the aftermath of your invasion is still fresh to this day so its not the same.

MayaKLan Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - actually jews always lived there, we just were kicked out a few times, but there were ALWAYS jews there, even when the arab invaders came and tried to murder us, we survived. to answer your question, if the people who were living there's leader had previously openly met with and supported hitler,as the people who call themselves palestinians did, i would say it is legitimate to fight, and if you win, it is legitimate to conquer. i base this on the entire history of muslim conquest.

MayaKLan Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - one more time i tell you: jews never left the land, and again 85% of palestinians immigrated between 1880-1948.

decimator333 Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - Before I adress that point Do you realize that you have controdicted yourself? You said that the land was inheritly yours and that you have the rigth to reclaim it for yourself. Than you said "like the palestinians trying to reclaim something they simply lost 3 generations ago" Surley you can see the controdiction?

MayaKLan Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - uhhh only they dont come from there? duh

decimator333 Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - It doesnt matter they lived there when you came. And ever since you came their lives have been shit. Many have lived under military occupation. Thousands have been killed homes have been destroyed, all while your settlers expand more and more. So let me ask you do you not see a problem with this? If you ask me Isreal should have been established elsewhere the palestinains had nothing to do with the holocaust.

MayaKLan Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - no they didnt. we arrived together....and most of them werent there when the jews were there before that. sorry but they actively went to war with israel. the mufti actively met with hitler, the 33 countries around israel actively chose to fight the jews. and when they lost, and couldnt come back, it was actively their fault. ALL those who stayed got full rights and citizenship. thats the diference, essential diference between the 2 cultures.

decimator333 Says:

Nov 12, 2008 - Okay I didn't exactly understand what you wrote there. So let me get this straight, according to you Palestinians and Jews arrived there at the same time? And the surrounding "33" nations went to war with Isreal and they were backed by Hitler? You're confusing the crap out of me please re-write that.

MayaKLan Says:

Nov 12, 2008 - no, according to the ottoman and critish population statistics in 1880 there were less that 80,000 arabs (or phoenician mixed arabs) in this land. in 1948 there were 1.7 milion. ill let you think about that. just for a minute. now there MAY be a link between the mass immigration to the land, and the HEAD OF THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY meeting with hitler, and vowing to throw the jews in the sea,

MayaKLan Says:

Nov 12, 2008 - as well as such events like the hebron massacre of (oops!) palestinian jews in 1923 and many events that followed=- long before the holocast. long before the state of israel was declared, long before the UN offered a 2 state sollution, giving the arabs the majority of the land.

SnapeHalfbloodPrince Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - About Israel: Respect authorities that God gave, even if they had unfairly got the power. it makes things a lot easier. just make the best of it:) Hugs given by SnapeHalfbloodPrince to those who are victimised by this brutal war between people on both sides, who think they have the right to play God over eachothers lives.

SnapeHalfbloodPrince Says:

paulewing81 Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - you know i think you two have the hots for each other one ah them there love hate relationship tings x x

MayaKLan Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - yeah, thats what i said hahaha no bro, th emufti of jerusalem didn thide the fact he met with hitler, he video taped it! just search it on youtube! he porfest to wanting all the jews dead a hundred times, he was not coward! as for the countries that went to war with israel (the number of muslim countries are 33, the number of arab are 22, 22 countries all spoke equally of supporting the war against israel, syria, lebanon, jordan & egypt attacked

MayaKLan Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - i didnt quite get what you wrote but it still made me laugh. anyway, anyone can comment on the middle east, and your imput is important, but make sure you dont pass that little red line between "i think" and "i know", because even we dont know, but we do know how it feels, and that isnt something you can appreciate until you live there. peace.

paulewing81 Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - its like two fleas arguing who owns the dog ha understand what im sayng the fleas dont own the dog they jus live on it!!!! whitout the dogs permission your jus her for a few years until either war or mother nature wipes both arab and jews off the map jus like the romans ottomans crusaders british you will run out of water first probably unlees u build a desalanation plant

paulewing81 Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - have you never heard of a love hate relationship two people who always fight but actuallhay fancy each other

MayaKLan Says:

Nov 25, 2008 - that part i understand, and you are correct in one part, as jews and arabs are not only related genetically, but the israeli culture and the arab culture are far more similar than diferent. many of my friends here are refugees from iraq (mostly assyrian) and when they talk about their culture its like a mirror of mine

smaorstu Says:
