Nov 30, 2008 - I've read into the wild several times and my conclusion= he is just ordinary but with a special mind and not a closed mind just like everybody and that makes him ordinary. his vision of this world R.I.P chris R.I.P

Dec 2, 2008 - Dude, I'm reading Thoreau and I was thinking the same thing when I saw this. Chris's life might have been short but he really lived. I wish I had his spirit.

Dec 2, 2008 - this movie really change my perspective in life, 360degrees, in a very good way!
PJP9623 Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - You do know that if something is rotated 360 degrees, it ends up right where it was before? Haha, but I'm sure you meant 180 degrees, and this is an amazing song/movie.

thehobbitslayer Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - if you really want the story, and a great story at that, read the book. by comparison the movie is laughable at best, with lots of inaccuracies.
lmpeders Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - Doesn't mean it's a bad movie. Even if Sean Penn tells the story differently through his movie, it's still a good story they way he pictured it.
thehobbitslayer Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - The movie is ok. The book is amazing. Interesting fact: The guy who drops him off at the stampede trail in the movie is the actual real life guy who dropped off Chris McCandless in '92.

Dec 4, 2008 - well, i can recommend a book...its called Islands In The Stream, by Hemingway. my favorite book. Its the only book I read, it speaks to certain people.
kenji4san Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - hahaha! i really meant 360degrees mr.pj, cause its a fresh new start buddy, just what clock is buddy its just running clockwise, but its different hours and day ayt everytime? Nways, hell yeah, too much for that, i know between you and me, this movie is very refreshing and so profound that it really gets you into thinking what matters most... Change the world, make it better, in our own little ways. I hope im making Sense here! LOL!
