Nov 28, 2008 - when i went on yr 7 camp to canberra in australia ( i live in australia in QLD) we did ice skating and 1 of my friends got pushed and her arm hit the wall and then the ice and she broke her arm in 3 places 1 in the wrist 1 in her hand and 1 just below her elbow. the 4 yrs b4 we went 4 people had broken an arm and 1 broke a leg all at ice skating. and 1 of my other friends same camp last yr fractured her knee ice skating and they had to go to hospital at midnight

Nov 29, 2008 - now what i beleive is that the main reason that all of these accidents are happening is because they are trying too hard, doing things that they know that are pushing the limits, but i do know that to be a figure skater it is all about pushing to be better and better but it all comes down to IS IT TOO MUCH or CAN I EVEN ATTEMPT TO DO THIS and also I understand that some times they just FALL or it is the partner's fault, but remember that THERE IS ALWAYS A LIMIT< KNOW IT!

Dec 2, 2008 - I totally agree. I also skate. it does hurt when you are dropped though. I have found that the most painful falls are stupid mistakes like when you are standing on the ice then your not.lol. if you don't slide when you fall to disperse the impact it hurts like hell. I'm sure many of you probably agree with me

Dec 3, 2008 - yea it's not even that painfull when you fall only if you land dodgy on a bone or something but if you know what your doing yea you have a few bumps and that but you dont fall as much, being dropped hurts alot more though
