Nov 8, 2008 - Just added this to my favorites. Id forgotten about this song and how much I love it. Im not going to waste time wishing I could go back, Im going to keep living it now. Just because we 80's kids are in our forties now doesnt mean you still cant have fun and make memories. Actually its better; done with school, more money to whatever we want, kids are teenagers and having fun listening to our old 80's music, and dancing in the living room with my sisters. I dont need a time machine to go back.

Nov 17, 2008 - It`s always strange for me to read comments about friendship between of men as if it would be a gay relationship.Probably it is because I`m an old fashioned Hungarian.Or am I crazy? For me it`s a beautiful song whitout of any references.

Nov 22, 2008 - What is this song really about?? What is "Desert Moon"?
Irishred2000 Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - what the hell are ya talkin about...
nickmitsialis Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - If I could make a guess (AND it MIGHT be wrong!) The song's about a small town guy who either made it big or who tried to & kind of fell short of his big dream; he returns home to see his buddies in his home town & kind of talk about 'old times'; I guess the 'Desert Moon' was the old hang out--now gone.
BURNINLUV4US Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Dennis Deyoung said that 'Desert Mooon' was the one time and place, that in your heart you never realy left. Everybody had a 'Desert Moon'
msierra12 Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - desert moon is a camp site (you should see it at the end of the music video) the song is primarily about a girl and him that have intercourse that's why he says (we left our innocence in desert moon)in the song.

Dec 2, 2008 - Now i'm 54 years old and remembering things with this song. Lots of experiences in life, kids & grandkids and living far from where I came from. You can't go back, but you can remember. Thanks Louie, Martin, Kevin, Ron, Lionel, & Ted(RIP) for being friends then & now. It means even more as you get older.
myunclesnephew Says:
Nov 7, 2008 - there are approximately 7 hundred....thousand...six hundred and thirty-seven latent homosexual references in this video. (not that that's bad or anything...)
