Nov 23, 2008 - you can't class music based on its populatity... pop music is more than just being popular... just because a few songs become mainstream from a band say from 'Korn' it doesn't mean that they are now pop... its not like u can class michael jackson with metallica or In Flames because they both had songs in the top 100 charts.. thats just stupid... the pop classification has certain tone colours and pitches that are fundamentally different to death metal or hardcore.. its not just about popularity.
