Nov 5, 2008 - So that's the guy that got Ray fucked up on dope? (If the biopic can be trusted) He doesn't look too threatening but I guess you can never trust a man that can burn on the sax like that, haha, just kidding rest in peace doped up or not you're the fucking man . . . Ray Charles was the first time I heard legitimately good music in my ears.

bugsycline Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - hey! excuse me for having over 20 years of stage experience and being able to recocnise something realy amazing, as shown in this video... good luck finding a band today that can play with that much intensity at this low a stage volume... is it possible that there are no musicians whom know what the volume knob is for? ps, if you're not a singer, you will never know what I am talking about.

kingbiscuitnugget Says:

Nov 14, 2008 - Fathead didn't get Ray messed up on dope. The movie got it wrong. I've had the pleasure of meeting and playing with him, and I can assure you that he is one of the kindest, most generous people you're likely to meet, and his playing is as sharp as ever.

findingusernamesucks Says:

Nov 15, 2008 - Good to hear. Still, in my defense, that's why I put the bit in parentheses . . .
