Nov 19, 2008 - I got the idea when I watched this that the song was about a coal miner who lost his friend in a cave-in (as he says at the end "3 days later they dug me up and I never saw him again but wherever he is I bet he's having a damn good time")and the video is either a hallucination he had while buried or a dream or maybe just a story he tells himself to block the pain from the loss of his friend, the way parents tell their children that the dog went to join the circus. But i'm just speculating.
