Aug 5, 2008 - oh I went through all the talking and im not saying it wasnt good, just annoyed they talked instead of us letting act it out. Disk 2 is 70% talk and 30% actual gameplay
zulrivers Says:
Aug 6, 2008 - haha yeah its irritating :S

Aug 7, 2008 - dont skip disk 2 thats retarded...
intelligentignorance Says:
Aug 17, 2008 - Absolute truth, this is one of the hardest fights in the game, as noted by this vid. And the music does such a great job of making Id seem innocuous. It has to be my favorite piece from the whole game.
HollowZangetsu409 Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - I hated this battle! This one and the one in Kislev's sewers with that thing!

Aug 21, 2008 - wait a sec. this battle was supposed to be tough? i breezed through it. Why would it be so hard for you and not me? just wondering... ;(

Sep 7, 2008 - id like Freuds theory for instant gratification
koontzsama Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - yeah! ID wow, I wish fei got the red waltall
jlop985 Says:
Sep 24, 2008 - Are you sure you mean innocuous? That word means something like "harmless."
intelligentignorance Says:
Sep 24, 2008 - Yeah, I did. The music is calming, relaxing, nowhere near indicative of the turmoil occurring inside. Its at the same time foreboding though, given its real lack of tempo and a feeling of urgency. When you listen to the music, do you really think it makes Id seem evil, or does the fact Id is evil make the music that much more sinister?
intelligentignorance Says:
Sep 24, 2008 - Well, I admit to being a moron when I had played and it was difficult (the second time was much easier). It was my first playthrough on the heels of FF8, which did not have equipment, only junctions, and I had completely forgotten about equipping my characters until after this fight. So yeah, the first time was painful, lol. Also, there was the mild problem that I had not built up any skills or levels prior to this fight.
jlop985 Says:
Sep 24, 2008 - I thought the music made Id seem more mysterious, and therefore more fearful.
eponychium Says:
Sep 29, 2008 - this fight is a joke. have citan do renkei in case of emergency, have billy increase citan and then everyone else's speed and then just heal, and have elly do ether attacks if you don't have strong deathblows.
Exotl Says:
Sep 30, 2008 - This scene has always bugged me. Id comes down and tells Stone to back off, and I'm thinking, finally, Id's not just here to cause me grief; maybe he'll do some good for once. But then he decides to stop Stone by pummeling me. What the hell is that about!?
Valkod23 Says:
Oct 1, 2008 - You went that long without equipment or building up Deathblows? I find that hard to believe. I mean, some of the enemies can kill you so quickly it ain't funny if you aren't equipped.
mselegantj Says:
Oct 22, 2008 - This was the battle that actually forced me to save up AP so I could use deathblow combos. Before then, even in the sewer against Redrum, I used regular deathblows because I was too impatient to save up and thought I would die if I did. But when ID totally destroyed me here, I had to re-think my strategy.
chee999 Says:
Oct 26, 2008 - how do you level your deathblows man im like stuck on the fourth one-.-
madsli Says:
Oct 28, 2008 - you got to input how the deathblows you haven't aquired are preformed, it's as simple as that
cocaineuk87 Says:
Oct 29, 2008 - Whenid first turned up here I felt sure he was gonna cfuck stone up but he turns on the palyer party instead. It didnt make any sense, seeing as its emerelda he wanted and stone was the one who had her.
Keollyn Says:
Nov 7, 2008 - People don't understand that Id still desires to fight those that are strong. I'm sure even when he said to give back Emerada, he wanted to fight the strong people. And Stone isn't one of them.
Triforce71 Says:
Nov 27, 2008 - xenogears is one of my favorite rpg games of all time along with ff7 and all the star ocean games.
GrieverTheBest Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - I Love Id's Theme !!!
xcaluhbration Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - Triforce I dont think its possible for me to agree with you more on those 3 choices
littledemon438 Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - citan is so bad ass with his sword.
zulrivers Says:
Aug 5, 2008 - That depends, if you're impatient then don't play disk 2 cause there's way much talking in it. But still, there are better gears to unlock and more skills to use, thats the fun part.
