Dec 13, 2008 - The new 2009 Audi A4 has a much better design than the 2008 or previous models. Only issue about this video to me is, why didn't they mention Acura TSX/TL they are luxury sports sedans also. And last I checked the #s, the 09 TL-SHAWD is faster than the 328i, C300, IS250 and the new Audi A4. The 08 TSX is faster than the IS250, 09 Audi A4, tied with the C300, slower than the 328i by .3ish secs for 0-60. Overall Audi A4 looks nice but its slow for a Turbocharged car.

NigguhJason Says:

Dec 13, 2008 - Acura TL-SHAWD 0-60 5.4, 328i 0-60 7.2, C300 0-60 7.5, Lexus IS250 0-60 7.9, 08 TSX 0-60 7.5, Audi A4 0-60 8 seconds. Slowest of em all. Even slower than the 09 TSX which is 7.8 0-60. Google the #'s, that's where I got these. Overall TSX/TL IMO would make the best choice to buy cheap, fast. The 09 Audi A4, I dig the new design but its still slow for a TurboCharged car. I don't know how its slower, but with its Inline4 Turbo 211HP it should run high 6s at least.I guess that shows poor engineering

PauliusBa Says:

Dec 14, 2008 - WTF, there are a lot of engine options.

PauliusBa Says:

Dec 14, 2008 - Actually, Audis are built very good, a lot better than Mercs.

NigguhJason Says:

Dec 14, 2008 - There's two engine options.... 2.0L Turbo or the V6. The V6 one can't be competing with the C300 or 328 or TSX or TL or IS250 because the V6 trim is 40K+ MSRP. With lowest trim packaging. Obviously, you use the one that matches the price, which is the 2.0L Turbo. Which is 30-32K MSRP.

tuolumne9 Says:

Dec 15, 2008 - This is competely wrong. The 2.0TFSI is the quickest engine in it's class, does 0-60 in about 6.3 seconds, and that's with the tiptronic. You have some very wrong information. The SH-AWD TL is much more costly than the base A4 w/ 2.0T.

tuolumne9 Says:

Dec 15, 2008 - Actually, the TSX is a relatively modestly paced car, about 0-60 in 7.6 seconds. The base model Volkswagen Passat (which also uses the corporate 2.0TFSI will do 0-60 in 7 seconds flat with the automatic). If you've ever driven a TSX< you'll notice that it's a very "cheap" car, from the hard plastic interiors to the prop for the hood (should be hydralic, even a base Jetta has this). It also has relatively no power or grunt down low, like most Honda engines. The 2.0TFSI has 207lbft at just 1800rpm

NigguhJason Says:

Dec 15, 2008 - I own a TSX. When my car was stock it hits 0-60 in rough 7s. The official #s for 0-60 for Audi's A4 is 8 seconds flat. Its everywhere, the interior for the TSX is not cheap. It just don't give you the wood trim offer like Lexus. Honestly, I prefer the plastic silver finish over the wood trim finish. But honestly a stock per stock, TSX is faster than a Audi A4. Either video proof. But so far in official 0-60 times, from testers the TSX is the faster.

juvechii Says:

Dec 18, 2008 - lol you have a lot of your facts wrong. There is no way a TL does 0-60 in 5.4 seconds thats not possible and why are you coparing the TL with these cars the TL is a big sedan. People who like sporty cars don't buy the TSX. TSX is a nice luxury car. It doesnt have the handling or built quality to match Audi. It doesnt matter how much horsepower it has or doesnt have, the TSX is too soft its basically a chick car Im not saying the TSX sucks its a really good car but its in a different class

NigguhJason Says:

Dec 18, 2008 - A TL can't do 5.4, do some research kid. TL-SHAWD does 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. Official #'s. TSX is a Entry Level Luxury Sports Sedan, like the IS250 and G35 etc. How is it soft when it does 0-60 in 7s rough. That's pretty for its price. Check your #'s dude, the A4 only does 0-60 in 8 seconds. I don't know but that's the #. How is A4 handling better than the TSX? Lol. They both FWD, unless you get the V6 version of the A4 which is AWD. TSX is pretty fast for its price/4banger. You tune one and see.

NigguhJason Says:

Dec 18, 2008 - My TSX can keep up with a G35 or faster. Didn't race one yet. Its tuned up. And all for under 35K which is pretty good cause I got my TSX 28K OTD 7K in mods.

Dec 19, 2008 - i want an audi!!!!!!

zaydlatif Says:

Dec 20, 2008 - i thinking of getting one or the m5

andydiamond77 Says:

Dec 21, 2008 - Looks good in Ibis white - I have just ordered my new comapny car - Audi A4 Avant 170bhp tdi s-line mmmm

nerddna Says:

Dec 22, 2008 - plan to buy one

sspope Says:

Dec 25, 2008 - Why, what's the problem with Lexus IS?

sspope Says:

Dec 25, 2008 - But you have to turbocharge R8 yourself if you want to compete with GTR. GTR comes turbocharged.

Amazetbm Says:

Dec 25, 2008 - The IS is a "me too" car. Audi, BMW and Merc have concentrated on each other when competing in the sport sedan catagory. Lexus didn't really have one until the IS came out in `99 where it regularly under performs against its European counter parts.

sspope Says:

Dec 25, 2008 - Some call IS an overpriced Camry but I generally like it. With petrol engines, it's not fast, not very economical, but it's very quiet. On the other hand, I drove the diesel version the other day and I could not believe what I was seeing, or better to say hearing. I've seen numerous commercials where Toyota boasted about their clean diesel technology but this one was rubbish. There was a turbo lag, the acceleration was bad considering only average fuel consumtion....

sspope Says:

Dec 25, 2008 - ...but the worst of all was the sound. I had to rev nuts off it, change gear and then it went like dig - dig - dig - dig-digdigdididididig. I've never seen so bad Volkswagen or Peugeot diesel engine.

stuwip839 Says:

Dec 30, 2008 - This is such a beautiful car! Unfortunately, My parents just had a pretty bad experience with and Audi, making it kind of hard to buy one myself:-(

FXshift35 Says:

Dec 31, 2008 - if it's your money then by all means you should be able to buy what you want

AudiBMW08 Says:

Jan 2, 2009 - I understand what you are saying about parents when it comes to Audis. Back in the 80's, Audi's reputation wasnt that great and very unreliable. But older people need to understand that times have changed and reputations do turn around. Audi is the future of luxury, modern cars! Not Mercedes anymore!

junyi2007 Says:

Jan 3, 2009 - If you can afford a extremely unreliable car so called audi a4 just for a minute of luxury, be advised. Yes I admit, the car looks good and the german engineering sounds appealing, and people keep falling in the same hole and regret last one. You know audi is one of the most unreliable cars out there along with other american ones.

daddyofsmack Says:

Jan 5, 2009 - only he's not talking about the 80's, he's talking about what happened recently...audi has a pretty bad reputation among many who have owned them.
