Dec 2, 2008 - The key i think is that in FFVI there wasn't a 100% lead character, the protagonic was shared between all, so you could pick your favorite and kick everyone's ass with it, or complete the story of everyone, and I mean everyone. Another key was that everyone was special, and almost with the same power. In the subsecuent games there was a protagonic and just slim sidequest for everyone. And absolutely you can't play without squall/cloud/zidane/tidus in your party.
