What's worse, is the way Tarantino uses his charactors to speak his racism for him. Because film is relatively new, people are still precious about artists taking influence from other artists, or of people remaking films or ideas. Its no big deal. And its not going to go away any time soon. His work is very fresh and original, despite the obvious influence from previous work which he clearly admits and in fact celebrates.
