Mar 30, 2008 - This film is the perfect blending of celluloid and music. This film solidified the legend of David Lean and made Peter O'Toole a star. This film is consistenly ranked among the 10 greatest films ever made. This is one of the few films that MUST be seen in a theater on a gigantic wide screen. I remember in the early 90s it traveled with a live orchestra. It was an extravaganza to the say the least.

Oct 12, 2008 - Yes, diogo95, if not for my 76-year-old Dad, I might not be as familiar with Ennio Morricone as I am. And Morricone was also awesome. Dad looked for his soundtracks for years and finally found them. Maurice Jarre, Korngold...there are so many inspired film composers out there!

Oct 19, 2008 - I remember getting so psyched to check this movie out, and being sorta...surprised by the opening sequence. I'm expecting some fantastic war movie, and it begins with Lawrence just cleaning up his bike and going on a fatal joy ride. That's not a criticism, just a reflection.
